What is
Circles & Strands?

A place for Curiosity, Creativity & Community

Sometimes an idea is clear but difficult to explain at the same time and so Circles & Strands is proving. I have wanted to create a place for a long time. A place to meet, to share, to inspire, to learn, to relax... a place to nourish the mind and create connection by weaving together many different activities and interests. It's not straightforward to find a suitable location and while the range of activities and subjects which I would like to include seems to expand every day, the logisitics have seemed overwhelming and I have hesitated to start the project. To start, I need to take the first step. So deep breath, here goes! I would like to propose some activities for January in two discrete areas - Words and Crafts. I'm hoping that some of my friends will road test my offerings (while being patient with the inevitable bumps along the way!) By learning from a few months of ongoing activities among friends, I'm hoping to be ready to launch a more formalised version of Circles & Strands later in 2024.
